Privacy Policy

We value your trust and handle personal data with care. This document explains, in plain language, what data we process about you, why, who we share it with, and what rights you have.

Effective from 10 August 2026

1. Who processes your data

The data controller is PrimeRide s.r.o., registered office at Hudcova 9/2, Medlánky, 621 00 Brno, Czech Republic, Company ID 24457159, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Brno, Section C, Insert 149972 (“PrimeRide” or “we”).

For anything related to personal data, contact us at primeride@email.cz or on +420 722 695 900.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer — we are not required to do so under Article 37 GDPR.

2. What data we process and why

a) Initial enquiry

When you submit the initial form, we process your first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, city and whether you have your own vehicle. If you are offering a vehicle to our fleet, also the number of vehicles and an optional photo.

Purpose
Handling your enquiry, contacting you and agreeing on next steps.
Legal basis
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.

b) Driver registration form

If you continue with the registration form, we also process:

  • Identification data: first and last name, date of birth, nationality
  • Contact data: e-mail, phone, home address, city of operation
  • Driving licence data: licence number, its validity, year category B was obtained, information about your taxi driver licence
  • Business data: whether you are self-employed and your company ID
  • Payment data: bank account number for payouts
  • Vehicle data: registration plate, make and model, year of manufacture, optionally VIN
  • Documents: driving licence (both sides), profile photo and, where applicable, taxi driver licence and vehicle registration certificate
Purpose
Preparing and concluding a cooperation agreement, arranging your registration with ride-hailing platforms, optional vehicle rental and setting up payouts.
Legal basis
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract and steps prior to it. For accounting and tax records, Article 6(1)(c) — compliance with a legal obligation.

Filling in the form is voluntary, but without this data we cannot prepare your registration or enter into cooperation.

c) E-mails we send you

We send confirmation of your enquiry, a request to complete your details and confirmation that we received them. These are not marketing messages — they are necessary to handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

d) Protecting forms from misuse

When a form is submitted we temporarily process your IP address to limit the number of submissions from one address and prevent automated spam. The IP address stays only in the server's temporary memory for at most one hour and is never stored. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in website security.

3. Who we share data with

Ride-hailing platforms

Depending on the platform you choose, we share the data needed to create and activate your driver account with Bolt Operations OÜ (Vana-Lõuna 15, Tallinn, Estonia) and Uber B.V. (Burgerweeshuispad 301, Amsterdam, Netherlands). These companies then process your data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

Processors

The following service providers process data solely on our instructions:

  • Vercel Inc. — website and server-side hosting
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — sending e-mails; delivery runs through infrastructure in Ireland
  • Google Ireland Limited — mailbox and website analytics
  • Seznam.cz, a.s. — mailbox

Transfers outside the EU

Some of these processors are based in the United States. In such cases the transfer takes place under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or on the basis of an adequacy decision (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).

We may also disclose data to public authorities where required by law. We never sell your data.

4. How long we keep your data

If no cooperation follows
6 months from our last communication. After that we delete your data and documents.
If cooperation follows
For the duration of the contract and 4 years after it ends — during that period mutual rights and obligations may need to be proven.
Accounting and tax records
10 years, as required by Czech accounting and VAT legislation.
Cookie consent
Your choice is stored in your browser for 6 months.

5. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies keep the website working — without them the site would not function correctly, and they do not require consent.

Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent. They measure traffic and advertising performance through Google Tag Manager. Until you give consent, these tools store no identifiers and do not track your behaviour.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the footer. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 89 of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications.

6. How we protect your data

  • All communication with the website is encrypted (HTTPS).
  • Only authorised PrimeRide staff have access to submitted data and documents.
  • Forms are protected against automated misuse.
  • Uploaded documents are kept only for the periods stated above and then deleted.
  • Confirmation e-mails deliberately do not repeat sensitive details such as your bank account or driving licence number.

7. Your rights

In relation to your personal data you have the following rights:

Right of access
You may ask what data we process about you and obtain a copy.
Right to rectification
If data is inaccurate or incomplete, we will correct it.
Right to erasure
In the cases set out by law, we will delete your data.
Right to restriction
You may ask us to temporarily stop working with your data.
Right to portability
We will provide the data you gave us in a machine-readable format.
Right to object
You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest.
Right to withdraw consent
Where we process on the basis of consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

You can exercise these rights at primeride@email.cz. We will respond within one month at the latest. To make sure we do not disclose data to the wrong person, we may ask you to verify your identity.

If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, please contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.
